How to Get a Portugal Schengen Visa?
No private intermediary is involved in a Portugal Schengen visa application; depending on where you live, you apply directly to the Portuguese Embassy (Ankara) or, under an inter-embassy agreement, to the Hungarian Consulate General (Istanbul). Processing Time
Standard processing time is 15 calendar days; this can extend to 30 days if further review is needed, and up to 60 days in exceptional cases (Visa Code, Article 23).
Per the Portuguese Embassy in Ankara's official page, no private intermediary handles Portugal visa applications; applications must be submitted in person. In Ankara, appointments are booked directly with the Portuguese Embassy's Consular Section (by email or the online portal); in Istanbul, under an agreement between the two embassies, applications are accepted by the Hungarian Consulate General instead.
